  Usually good for a cheap lunch, today could have been much better. Long wait for food, the average burger was below average, no crayons to keep the young one occupied, the free refill coffee was frustrating as both coffee machines were out of milk. Wife enjoyed her pizza from the new pizza menu. Basic issues, no reason for them to be wrong really.

  This place is frankly one of the best pubs and on the whole at least one of the best restaurants I've been to. A wide variety of ales, large portions, hygenic areas, a wide range of food to choose from including vegetarian and dairy free menus. There seems to be no downside. And the staff seem to want to be there. If you ever have plans around the area then I would seriously consider eating there. I just wish there were more places like it!

  Like it more, now I have noticed the 'traditional' pub area in the middle. Bit more cosy than the rest of the open-plan layout with a real fire when it's chilly.
